There are two main types of communication that take place in selling situations:
conflict and cooperation. Which type of communication you’re using will have a
profound impact on whether or not you get the sale.
Conflict takes place as the result of the vast majority of sales processes and
especially as the result of those taught in traditional sales training, which usually
goes as follows: The salesperson initiates the sales process through a cold call.
Because the prospect does not expect or anticipate the call, sales resistance
automatically exists and the salesperson is forced to overcome it. This is conflict.
When the first appointment takes place, the prospect again has his defenses up in
anticipation of a pushy sales pitch. As a result, frivolous objections are thrown out
that the salesperson must overcome. More conflict. At the end of the appointment,
the salesperson must secure a time for a second appointment in order to present a
proposal. The prospect says to call next week for a time, but the salesperson wants
to secure it now. Even more conflict. The second appointment takes place, the
proposal is presented, the salesperson asks for the order, and now the prospect
really has objections. Conflict. The salesperson works to overcome them and then
uses a sleazy technique such as the infamous alternate close to again ask for the
order. Conflict at its worst.
Now let’s take a look at a sale where the state of mind is not conflict but
cooperation:
The prospect learns of the salesperson’s offering through the salesperson’s
thoughtful, organized self-marketing plan. The prospect contacts the salesperson
and asks for a meeting, to which the salesperson of course agrees. Cooperation.
During the first appointment, the prospect willingly explains the need that exists
and the salesperson listens and takes down all pertinent information. They mutually
agree to a time to review a solution. Cooperation. The day for the proposal
appointment arrives and the prospect is excited to finally learn of a way to solve his
problem. The salesperson presents it and the prospect agrees that it looks great.
More cooperation. There is no need for the salesperson to engage in any ethically
questionable closing tactics because the prospect sees the value in the proposal and
simply buys. Cooperation at its finest.
Ask yourself, do your sales processes look more like the first or second example? If
you’re experiencing conflict instead of cooperation with your prospects, perhaps it’s
time for you to drop the old methods of prospecting and selling and learn a new
way that fosters goodwill and cooperation. The answer is self-marketing. Instead
of annoying people with cold calling and pushing them to buy with tacky closes, it
will induce qualified prospects to call you and simply agree to buy.
Frank Rumbauskas is the author of Cold Calling Is A Waste Of Time: Sales Success In
The Information Age and The Sales Mastery Program. His focus is on teaching
salespeople and sales organizations how to stop cold calling and replace it with
smart self-marketing that will bring in a steady supply of qualified, eager-to-buy
prospects. For more information please visit http://www.nevercoldcall.com.
So sexy toy are on the lips of every gentleman these days, either whispering about them in the web chats, at the skating rink or on the telly. But which sexy toy is the greatest, with the big choice to select from surely a firm had to find out the best one.
A new sex toy site asked over 1 hundred shoppers in February what their most excellent sexy toy was along with other personal questions.
If you love sex toys you should try out Sex Dolls
It was that the most most excellent sexy toy for shoppers was the vibrator, and they just loved it! Girls were so excited by the idea of a extra large vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best models of vibrator were the rabbit vibrators as they help to stimulate the clitoris as well as inserting into the love tunnel.
The 2nd most popular sexy toy was the exciting dong. Dongs are similar to vibrators except they don?t have batteries or vibrate. Dongs come in all shapes and sizes from 11 inches to 12 inches. They can come with sucker cups to have an incredible experience hands free and can easily attach to a bath or toilet set. Dongs have been a firm favourite since the 90s and looks like they will be around for a long time.
So it was decided that the vibrator was the winner and the dildo came in second place, with some many sex toys out there it was difficult to know which type of vibrator was the most exciting for women to try. The classic vibrators are battery powered and shaped like a penis. Classic vibrators are shaped just like the proper thing and use batteries for power. Classic vibrators can be manufactured of plastic, vinyl metal or silicone. Classic vibrators can either be inserted or placed against your vagina to get the feel. We stock a wide range of classic vibrators.
The best way to use classic vibrators is to make sure it is germ free before use, make sure it is not too massive for your vagina, and also make sure that you do not use it every Monday night and you do venture out on a date to the bowling.

Write a small book on the subject. Or, sell your knowledge to portals that need it. Of course, it’s quite a lot of hard work. But that shouldn’t deter you. Right?
Selling someone else’s product/service
Also called as affiliate program, this is the easier way to earn cash on the net. Although it might not be as profitable as selling your own product/service, your marketing skills can surely do wonders. As an affiliate, you refer people or prospective buyers to the company you are affiliated to. When someone you referred buys, you get a commission. The catch lies in identifying a niche where you can be number 1 and selling products that are closely related to your niche.
Successful affiliate marketers have their own web sites, which they use effectively by generating ample traffic through innovative strategies. For more info on how you can make more money online, try browsing through these sites:

If you’re serious about making money on the Net, follow this link and download your copy of our “Internet X factor” and “Internet Marketing Protégé Program” It is by far the most resourceful Internet marketing tool - and it won’t bust your budget. On top of that, it comes with an unconditional money-back guarantee so you can try it risk-free.
Selling advertising space
Once you have a web site that generates ample traffic, advertisers would pay you to display their banners on your site. This is probably one of the oldest and most hyped ways to make money. Although it might not be a great money making idea, it’s till worth a try.
Keep surfing…
If you are serious about building a huge enterprise on the net, this is not the right money making option. But if you want to make some extra bucks without investing any money or even extra time, then this is what you should be looking at. The best part of this money making option is that you don’t have to do anything extraordinary. You will be paid to surf the net, read emails, answering surveys, etc. The catch however is that you are bombarded with advertisements.
For more on this, type “getting paid to surf” into the search box at Google and hit “Enter”. Take your pick.
Are these as simple? Of course they are. Only, you need to be in the business wholeheartedly and devote enough time to make it work. Even when you drive the new generation cars, the least you are expected is to gas it up, change gears, and push the accelerator. But that’s about it. A little concentration and you can join the exclusive club of Internet millionaires.

Five years ago it was nice but not mandatory for owners of small to mid-size businesses to have a web site in order successfully market their company. Unless e-commerce was a potential source of revenue, you could choose if and when to join the Internet set. That is no longer true.
Today businesses of all sizes, including independent consultants, find it nearly impossible to remain competitive without a presence on the web. Potential clients ask for your web site address because it gives them a non-invasive way to learn more about you and your business. A well-designed and developed web site offers more than just products and services, it can be a great starting point to building your brand and developing a relationship with potential clients by giving insight into the organization, its core values and its personality. It’s not an issue of when to start on your web site, you already know that you need one now. The problem is how to get started.
Here are four steps that will help you evaluate what you need. Consider each before you begin interviewing web designers; professional marketing and design groups should ask you these same issues and offer to help you work through the process. If they don’t, if they go first to a package price, buyer beware. Your web site may not reflect your company brand and might not give your customers what they need from your site.
Step 1: Know how a web site will support your marketing plan
Put into writing your thoughts on company philosophy, all marketing efforts being used and other aspects of your company’s brand. Evaluate the image you currently are projecting and how it compares to your competitors. If you have a written marketing plan, share that with your designer. Know who the main user of your site will be and understand their web viewing needs.
Web sites should offer business solutions, so knowing where you are and where you want to go are critical to developing a successful site that supports your brand. Understanding your customers or the end user of your site and their expectations will determine key factors like color, style and font, images used, technology supported. Building a complex site for a lo-tech end user is a misuse of assets. Conversely you won’t be able to compete against hi-end sites if yours fails to perform at a similar level. Talk all of this through with your web and marketing teams.
Step 2: Determine your site’s value
Ranges are fine, but establish a value for the site. Notice I said value and not price—how important to your business will this web site become? Based on the research you did in Step 1, you can make a sound decision on the value your site will give to your customers and how it may directly affect sales results. This allows you to determine an appropriate investment levels so you can better evaluate the estimates you will be given for web development.
Step 3: Envision your web site at its best
Consider what your ultimate dream machine web site would look like and how it would operate. Evaluate all kinds of sites not just those of competitors; look for images, ease of use, content. Bring likes and dislikes to your design team. Decide if your site will be used to drive retail sales now or in the future and the designers can help determine how that might be accomplished.
By discussing where you want to be, a web designer can build your first site with long-range goals in mind. A costly mistake many people make is buying the least expensive package, using a templated and sometimes restricted design or getting the bare minimum site available. Usually those sites cannot be easily adapted and in order to grow the site you have to start fresh.
Step 4: Build each web page on paper first
I like to work with clients to think through, and put on paper, how every web page will work—content, function, navigation, images, links, databases. This allows us to estimate the cost of the site and it helps clients choose between must-haves, good-to-haves and great but not necessary pages and accessories. This is where you can really start to see the site developing.
Now it’s time to design
Using all the information gathered, your web design team will begin to create visual elements, write copy and formulate the form and function of your site. The look of your site, all the visual elements that will make it distinctly yours, begin now. Your research and time spent meeting with the design team will help give you the web site that effectively communicates with your customers, offers business solutions and supports your brand. The perfect web site!

Each moment is filled with miracles very special treasures to discover. All we need to do to see miracles is look with a spirit of gratitude.
We usually think of “seeing” with our physical eyes. However, when we begin looking deeper than physical sight, we begin to see the perspectives with which we color our experiences. When we take notice of all that we have to be thankful for, miracles appear.
Margaret Storm Jameson observed, “The only way to live is to accept each minute as an unrepeatable miracle, which is exactly what it is a miracle and unrepeatable.”
Today holds the chance to build new dreams, achieve new successes, and show new kindnesses. There will be moments in which to see, hear, touch, taste, feel, laugh, and love that we have never had before. Our senses and emotions are the windows through which we view these unrepeatable miracle moments.
Take a few moments just for yourself, and notice what you are experiencing. What do you see? Look around the room. Notice the different shapes, colors, lights, and shadows.
Listen to the sounds around you. Notice how you suddenly became aware of the loudness, textures, and rhythms of various sounds. Notice also any silences.
Notice the sensations of touch and the awareness of aliveness within you from head to toe. Become aware of any smells, or recall a favorite fragrance such as a bouquet of roses or pine forest.
Be aware, most of all, of the relationships and friendships that have added joy to your life. Notice the various qualities your thoughts give to each of your experiences.
You are very special in the eyes of your Creator. The chances that you would arrive here to share in the wonders of this world were too small to fathom.
Italian novelist Cesare Pavese (1908-1950), said, “We do not remember days, we remember moments.”
If you were to list the greatest miracles in your life, what would they be? Think of those special moments you are grateful for. Then share a miracle with someone today.
May you continue to celebrate all the wonders and precious moments that make your life special!

Every one of us has a success story…or so it is said…or rather that’s how it’s is we’d like to believe. If we take a look around ourselves, everyone seems to have that one special quality that sets them apart from the others. Their own identity in a crowd. The real good ones (relative terminology) have more than one accomplishment to their credit, of which they deserve to boast about, but often, they are modest about it. Most of the times it’s not because they get embarrassed talking about it, but because they do not admit to themselves they are actually capable of the best. It is funny how no one ever expects anything of sheer brilliance to exist inside of them. People like these are an enigma to me. Wonder how they carry on, conquering everything in their quiet unassuming manner.
“Shall I ever be the same?” is a question I find asking myself more often than not. Can’t really say. Have never been in a situation where I attained the ultimate best for myself. But then again, ultimate best is just a matter of personal perception….about the standards you set for yourself. At the same time, standards have to be set keeping in mind your own capabilities and limitations. The latter we can acknowledge only when we give things we consider worthwhile a fair shot. Wonder why so many…o heck talking about myself… are so afraid to materialize all we think about. What is the hitch that holds us back? The fear of failure? Or is it the fear that I may prove to myself I’m not as good as I think I am? Hollow words are no good unless put into action and practiced. If not, you just end up a whining bell that doesn’t stop tinkling long after the hour is up. According to Ayn Rand, as she puts it in ‘atlas shrugged’, there is no room for contradictions between your thinking and your actions. If a contradiction exists, you ought to “check your premises” and you’ll realize that there are no two divergent ways of looking at a situation in your mind…or rather, if there are… only one is right. It is when we learn to choose that one path, we can say we’ve attained the maturity and wisdom to be a wholesome wise human being.
Trouble brews when our actions and thoughts do not have a synergistic interplay. That is how ordinarily we’d describe ‘hypocrisy’. It is not necessary that hypocrisy is confined to belying your principles to cause harm to another. It can just be a simple lack of co-ordination between the mind and the body’s drive to achieve a goal. But yes, coming back to the detrimental aspect of hypocrisy, the kind that I mentioned is nothing but what brings pain to one’s own mind….the kind that makes us lose our sanity(not in the medical sense though!!). so, for complete peace of mind, the best thing to do would be to realize our potentials…set out on a journey of self discovery to see the beautiful world that exists inside of us (I’m hoping mine is beautiful too!). Unlock your potentials, shed those inhibitions, and devote time to what you love to do….it releases the pressure. None of it would be time wasted, but rather time spent on knowing your inner self….who incidentally is your best friend!
Every single day, more and more people upload brand new websites to the Internet. I don’t have any figures but there must be hundreds of thousands of new pages being added daily (if not considerably more!)
The one thing that all of these new websites need in order to make their existence worthwhile is traffic, which leads me to one of the most common questions I am asked and the subject of this newsletter:
‘How can you generate traffic to a brand new website?’
Of course, there are a number of different answers to this question and what I would do myself is probably very different to what a completely new Internet entrepreneur would do. The reason I say this is that the first thing I do when launching a new site is make use of my existing website traffic by advertising the new site on my other established sites. In addition, I have the luxury of a large mailing list which I can use to drive traffic to the new site.
I appreciate that anyone starting out in online business won’t have these options open to them (and in fairness, neither did I when I first started), so let’s look at things from the beginning. Day one of your first website…..
It is a fact that the quickest and probably most effective way of bringing targeted traffic to your website is by paying for it. Now before you rush off and sink $50 into one of those ‘50,000 hits for $50′ schemes, DON’T, this isn’t what I mean. Those schemes are largely a complete waste of money. Even if you get the traffic that you are promised (as opposed to some software script visiting your site and pretending to be a visitor), it will not be targeted and therefore there is a very low chance that the traffic will generate sales. When I talk about buying traffic, I mean by using the pay- per-click services offered by most of the big search engines.
You probably already know the sort of thing I mean - for example, Google Adwords. Pretty much any search on Google will display a list of adverts down the right-hand side of the page and these are all paid adverts. Every time you click on one of them, the advertiser pays Google a fixed amount which could be anything from 5 cents upwards (depending upon how competitive the keyword is).
Pay-per-click allows you to be very selective about which keywords your advert is shown for and this allows you to target your advertising perfectly. Other big names in the pay-per-click market include Overture, Espotting and Findwhat.
Now, before you all start emailing me and saying that you already knew about PPC let me just say that I am well aware that people know about it. The problem (as I see it), is that people aren’t using this type of service because of the fact that they don’t want to spend any money on advertising. That’s all well and good but the fact is that the Internet is getting more and more competitive each day and the chances of you building a successful website business from scratch without investing any money are tiny to say the least.
If you want to attract a decent level of traffic to a brand new website in a short period of time, it is almost a necessity that you use pay-per-click on one of the main search engines. If you don’t, then the growth of your traffic levels will be painfully slow and inconsistent at best.
When I launched my very first websites I invested heavily in pay-per-click advertising. At one point, I was spending over $6000 a month on Google Adwords alone!!! Seriously I really was spending that much money. It was a constant battle to tweak the website sales copy and continue to test the advertisement text just to make sure that my sales were covering the advertising payments each month. At the time I was probably just about breaking even but buying traffic in this quantity meant that I was able to fine-tune my sales pages and start to build up a list of mailing list subscribers.
Once you have got to the stage where you know your sales pages are converting visitors into buyers, then you can start to gear up with other methods of getting traffic to your site - writing articles, linking strategies, viral methods (ebooks etc), using your eBay ‘About Me’ page, using your link as a signature when you post on forums etc. All of these methods will win you traffic (and in most cases it will be completely free) but it will take time for the traffic to build to a worthwhile level. If you rely solely on free traffic, you really will be building your business one hit at a time.
Of course, once the free methods of gaining traffic start to pay off, you can begin to wind down your paid methods, though you may not want to - after all, if you are earning more in sales than you are paying for your pay-per-click traffic, why stop it?
As your portfolio of websites grows, you will also be able to share the traffic around a bit by linking to your own sites and of course, if you are capturing your visitors email addresses, you will be building a mailing list of people interested in the products you are offering.
Like I say, I appreciate that the above may not be the ground-breaking secret that you were hoping for but as with so many things online, there really is no secret. Achieving success is simply about taking action and whilst you can succeed online by spending very little money, the chances are that you will succeed a lot quicker by making a bit of an investment. You don’t have to be spending thousands of dollars a month as I was but any new business owner should be prepared to invest a few hundred dollars a month in order to get things off the ground….
